Fremouw Environmental is a hazardous and non-hazardous waste management company. My daughter always likes to say, “I get to go out and help clean up the world.”

What caused you to seek a business banking relationship?

When I started with the bank, I had one truck. From the initial loan with First Northern for my second truck, First Northern has grown with me as I’ve built my business. I had several acquisitions of some other environmental companies and the bank worked with me throughout the process.

What keeps you coming back to First Northern for your business needs?

I received help from First Northern on a commercial property, but I had never purchased an industrial property before. At the end of the loan process, I was able to purchase this piece of property that I stand on today. It’s perfect for my company.

What matters most you to in a bank?

The most important thing to me in a banking relationship is a bank that understands my needs. I just feel grateful that I’ve had a bank that’s worked with me to help me grow my company.

I like the fact that First Northern has always looked at what I’m doing. There’s been times where I’ve just needed to talk to somebody who understands what I’m going through as a business owner. Something that differentiates First Northern is the education they have provided me on how I can better protect the financial security of my company. I don’t think that’s something that I’m going to get from another bank.
